World Skill

WorldSkills India is an initiative of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. NSDC, through its WorldSkills India initiative, has been leading the country's participation at WorldSkills International competitions since 2011.

Other key objectives of WorldSkills India are to:

B&WSSC was given the mandate to conduct the world skill competition this year. We have conducted 5 regional and one national competition

National World skill competition was conducted from 23rd- 25th September at Clarion Hotel. 21 contestants from all over the world participated in the competition out of which 5 finalist were chosen. The five finalist are under went focused and intensive training . The final selection of the world skill competition was conducted in Delhi at the pragati maidan.

Ms Neha Chande won the competition and will be representing India at the world skill competition in Brazil.
